Ooh, gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you're playing outside and you throw a ball up in the air, it comes back down to the ground? That's because the Earth is pulling on the ball with an invisible force called gravity.

The Earth wants to keep everything close to it, so it pulls on you, me, and even the ball. That's why we don't float off into space when we're standing on the ground. It's like the Earth is giving us a big squeeze, saying "Stay close, I love you!"
