Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you hug your favorite toy or stuffed animal, you hold it close to your body? That's kind of like what the Earth is doing to everything on it, including you!

The Earth is a big ball, and it wants to keep everything close to it. So, it pulls on everything with an invisible force called gravity. That's why you don't float off into space when you're standing on the ground. The Earth's gravity is giving you a big hug, keeping you safe and sound!
