Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you hug someone, you hold them close to you? Gravity is like that, but it's the Earth hugging everything on it, including you!

The Earth wants to keep everything close, so it pulls on everything that's near it. That's why you don't float off into space when you're standing on the ground. The Earth is giving you a big hug, and that's what keeps your feet on the ground!
