Ooh, gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you're playing outside and you throw a ball up in the air, it comes back down to the ground? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug! The Earth is pulling everything towards itself, including you! That's what we call gravity.

Imagine you're playing with a friend on a trampoline. You're bouncing around and having fun, but if you let go of the trampoline, what happens? You fall down! That's because the Earth is giving you a big hug and pulling you towards itself. Isn't that cool?
