Oh boy, gravity is so cool!

Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth! It's like when you give your favorite toy a big squeeze and don't want to let it go. The Earth is hugging everything on it, including you! It keeps you from floating away into space.

Imagine you have a ball, and you throw it up in the air. What happens? It comes back down, right? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug with its gravity. The Earth wants to keep everything close, so it pulls everything towards it. That's why you don't float off into space when you're standing on the ground!
