You know how when you give your favorite toy or stuffed animal a big squeeze? You feel like you're pulling them close to you?

Well, the Earth is doing the same thing to you and everything else on it! It's pulling us all towards itself with a special kind of invisible string. That's what keeps us from floating off into space. It's like the Earth is giving us a big hug all the time!
