Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you hug someone, you wrap your arms around them and pull them close? Gravity is like the Earth giving the whole world a big hug! It pulls everything towards it, so we don't float away into space.

Imagine you have a ball, and you throw it up in the air. What happens? It comes back down to the ground, right? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug with its gravity! And that's what keeps us on the ground, too.
