Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

Imagine you have a ball, and you throw it up in the air. What happens? It comes back down to the ground, right? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug! The Earth wants to keep everything close, so it pulls everything towards itself. That's gravity!

When you're standing on the ground, the Earth is giving you a big hug too! That's why you don't float away. And when you throw a ball up in the air, the Earth's hug pulls it back down to the ground. Isn't that cool?
