Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you hug someone, you hold them close to you? Well, the Earth is doing the same thing to everything that's on it, including you! It's pulling everything towards itself with a special kind of magic called gravity.

Imagine you're playing with a ball on the playground. When you throw the ball up in the air, what happens? It comes back down to the ground, right? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug and pulling it back down. And that's what gravity does to everything, all the time!
