Gravity is like a big hug from the Earth!

You know how when you hug someone, you pull them close to you? Gravity is like that, but the Earth is hugging everything on it, including you! It's what keeps you on the ground and what makes things fall down instead of floating off into space.

Imagine you have a ball, and you throw it up in the air. What happens? It comes back down to the ground, right? That's because the Earth is giving it a big hug, pulling it back down to the ground. And that's gravity!
